The world tour event of basketball is the pinnacle event of 3×3 endorsed by FIBA. The 100th World Tour event of FIBA 3×3 Amsterdam Masters is important and special. They organized it on the 6th and 7th of October. Fourteen squads will compete in this basketball tournament and the countdown has begun.

Earlier, FIBA 3×3 Cebu Masters was held on September 23-24. In this tournament, Miami USA clinched the crown after a four-year gap. On September 21, 2019, the iconic USA team Princeton won the Los Angeles Masters. During the next two seasons, the USA team was rarely seen due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Coming back to the 100th World Tour event of FIBA 3×3, the legendary basketball star Dwyane Wade’s City is full of excitement.

In the previous season, Jimmer Fredette of Miami (USA) demonstrated his spectacular performance and was honored with the MVP award at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Cebu Masters 2023 on September 24. The final match was against Vienna. He led the team with 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 highlights. Now, he, along with his team consisting of basketball players Canyon Barry, Dylan Travis, and Kareem Maddox, is ready for the Amsterdam 3×3 basketball match. The USA basketball 3×3 on their official Twitter handle posted this, “Fresh off the Masters win in (flag of Philippines) Cebu, Miami is back to work at (flag of Netherlands) (hashtag 3×3 WT Amsterdam) on Friday!

Former NBA veteran and collegiate legend Jimmer Fredette is famously known for his sharp shots. This sniper would pose a strong challenge for the competitor’s team. He has the potential to lead his team to back-to-back victories in the world tour. However, there are other strong players in the tournament as well.

Top players in the FIBA 3×3 Amsterdam

We have the Dutch star, Worthy de Jong who has the talent to make fans go into frenzy with his rapid movements. He is currently holding an average of 9.3 ppg and wants to conquer his first world tour title. He steps on the half-court with full energy and excitement. Another figure, Strahinja Stojacic (Ub Huishan NE)? aims to end the two-month drought of Ub’s on the world tour.

Next, we have Quincy Diggs from Vienna. The Austrians were very close to winning their first world tour title in 2023, but they had to face defeat at Cebu by the Americans. Quincy might pose a challenge for the Americans in Amsterdam. Another Belgian player, Dennis Donkor, is also very skillful and supports his team in need. He is possibly the best defender.

The FIBA 3×3 world tour tournament is going to be full of thrills and teams are going to clash. The American fans are excited about the next win after Cebu. The adrenaline rush among them is at its peak.
