Max Muncy suffered an elbow injury

On Sunday, the Dodgers were up against the Milwaukee Brewers. While Dodgers triumphed over the Brewers by 10-3, Muncy faced a painful injury in the third innings of the match.

Attempting to make a crucial catch, Max Muncy stood his ground with Jace Peterson pacing for his life. However, while the ball hit Peterson’s back, he failed to control his pace and ramped into Muncy’s hand. Shockingly, Muncy went straight to the ground, holding his hand, crying in pain.

Peterson was called out, as he had interfered in the play. Unfortunately, Muncy had to leave the field and was replaced by Albert Pujols.

Later on, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts revealed that the issue was more than a soft tissue injury, threatening Muncy’s comeback on the field. He also mentioned that Max’s appearance on Wednesday is “very unlikely.”

Currently, Max Muncy is in the fourth position in NL home run hitters list with 36 home runs.
