MLB’s top free agent, Carlos Correa has been enjoying his free time in the lockout with his family and friends. Notably, Carlos spent the weekend cheering on Formula 1 driver, Max Verstappen, as he won his first World Championship title.

7-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton was outclassed by Max Verstappen in the last race of the season. Notably, this was Max’s first championship title, and a lot of athletes celebrated this historic moment, including Carlos Correa.

Carlos Correa went wild as Max drove to glory

On Sunday, the world tuned in to watch the last race of the year, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021. Young dutch racer, Max Verstappen, was craving for his maiden title as he clashed with legend, Lewis Hamilton. Packed with drama and controversy, the race ended with Max cruising to victory, denying Lewis of a record 8th title.

Along with his fans all over the world, Carlos joined in on the celebrations, standing on the table, shouting, as Max snatched the title from Lewis Hamilton in the last lap. Ecstatic, Carlos even posted a video of the same on Instagram, with the caption, ”@maxverstappen1 2021 WORLD CHAMPION LFG 🔥🔥🔥.”

Notably, this was just a small celebration of a rather eventful year he’s had. Taking to Instagram yet again, Carlos had an even bigger reason to celebrate, as he welcomed his firstborn into the world.

Carlos welcomed a baby boy to this family

On November 29th, Carlos Correa and his wife, Daniella Rodriguez, celebrated the birth of their baby boy. The couple, who also celebrated their second anniversary in 2021, named their son Kylo Daniel Correa.

Carlos shared a glimpse of his son on Instagram, breaking the news to his fans. He captioned the post, ”🤍 Kylo Daniel Correa 11.29.21 🤍 You’ve changed my life forever. I LOVE YOU, my SON 💙 Happy 2nd Anniversary @daniellardzz. You’re the rock of this family. Thank you for being the funniest and the hardest worker in the house. Love you baby ❤️❤️❤️”
