As for Derek Jeter, the Yankees Hall of Famer chooses not to attack back at Correa, as his achievements speak for his incredible career. Notably, Derek Jeter served the Yankees in his entire 20-year long career.
Derek Jeter is least bothered by the comments
Yankees’ legend, Jeter, is a well-known name in the baseball fraternity. While he might be out of the field, he still plays a huge role in MLB as the CEO of Miami Marlins.
Earlier, Correa attacked Jeter, by saying ”Derek Jeter didn’t deserve any,” on his five gold glove awards. While he raised many eyebrows with his comments, Jeter wasn’t affected at all.
Now, in a recent interview, he was asked about his views on the same, and Derek replied with a smile. “I heard about that. I didn’t think much about it,” he said.

The 47-year-old chose not to dive into a verbal war and ended the matter right there. He said, “ I don’t know how my name was brought up, but it doesn’t even warrant a response. I mean, I could go a lot of different directions but I won’t.”
Well, that was a savage reply by the 14-time All-star winner. However, with such comments, Carlos Correa not only compromised his future with the Yankees but also with Miami Marlins.
There are a lot of rumors about the Yankees being interested in Correa; however, will the fans be happy watching the guy who criticized their legend represent them on the mound?
