Baseball pitcher Marcus Stroman slammed an American TV host who initially had questioned Shohei’s abilities. Interestingly, Ohtani has surpassed the likes of Babe Ruth with his incredible outing as a two-way player.
Marcus Stroman backs up Shohei Ohtani
Shohei Ohtani took a while to embrace himself as the best two-way player in the history of baseball, as he struggled with injuries initially.
Hence, American Radio host, Mike Francesa, had said some strong words to say against Ohtani once. Mike said, “They are talking up this guy like crazy. And he hasn’t produced anything yet. Yankees are lucky they didn’t get him.”

Interestingly, after Ohtani’s stellar run in 2021, every franchise might have wished about having him on their side.
Former New York Mets star, Marcus Stroman, backed up Ohtani, as the old interview with Mike resurfaced online once again. Marcus tweeted, “Athletes…never listen to these types of clowns. Chase your dreams and stay true to self always. You can’t calculate work ethic or future production. I know some athletes allow negative energy to deter their career. Small talk always comes from small minds. BElieve in YOUrself!”

Marcus, who is known for expressing himself unabashedly always, also wrote aggressively, “Lmao look at these poo-poo takes from a couple of clowns. Society won’t continue to listen to media members who have zero clue about the game and what it takes to succeed at this level. These guys wake up blabbering random thoughts daily! 😂”
Clearly, Shohei Ohtani has proved he deserves to be on the top as he clinched the AL MVP 2021 award. But as for Mike, he has always been in a feud with baseball players for his unsettling comments.
Noah Syndergaard ripped Mike on twitter
Some time ago, Mike attacked ex-Mets star, Noah Syndergaard on Twitter, saying, “I competed every day for 35 years (and won) in my chosen profession in the greatest city in the world. Noah whined and ran away.”
Only thing you've ever won is being a gas-bag Mets hating opportunist. All you've done is talk shit and spread toxic crap for a career. Congrats again sweetie, you're doing great.

Naturally, Noah chose to hit back in the most Noah Syndergaard way. He said, “Only thing you’ve ever won is being a gas-bag Mets hating opportunist. All you’ve done is talk sh*t and spread toxic cr*p for a career. Congrats again sweetie, you’re doing great.”

Marcus applauded Noah’s epic reply to Mike, saying, “I wish the media could report with accuracy like this. For real. Nothing but facts from my dawg @Noahsyndergaard.”
I wish the media could report with accuracy like this. For real. Nothing but facts from my dawg @Noahsyndergaard. Miserable media members projecting their insecurities on others while pushing biased narratives. It’s all too obvious. Go kill it in LA my dawg. You deserve it all! https://t.co/m3YLohnspd

Being an athlete makes the stars prone to harsh criticism; however, it often encourages players to stand up for each other. Displaying the true spirit of the game, Marcus kept his rivalry aside and defended his counterpart, making an example for many to follow.
