Boston Red Sox rumored to make ‘quiet play’ for Carlos
Fresh from playing World Series in 2021, Carlos Correa is entering free agency for the 2022 season. Notably, the New York Yankees were already rumored to be preparing a huge contract for him.
However, according to sports analyst Jim Bowden, even Red Sox are interested in Carlos Correa now. Bowden wrote, “There’s a strong possibility the Red Sox make a quiet play for either Carlos Correa or Marcus Semien.”

Although they already have their shortstop position filled by Xander Bogaerts, Bowden believes they will shift Xander to the second base position.
On the other hand, if the New York Yankees need to win the World Series in 2022, they need a strong person in shortstop, and if Correa is taken by Red Sox, their only option left would be Corey Seager. However, will the Los Angeles Dodgers let go of Corey?
Can Carlos Correa go to Boston Red Sox?
Working as a team creates a bond between players, coaches, and managers. And, one can’t ignore the old relations between current Red Sox manager Alex Cora and Correa. Alex is the former bench coach of the Houston Astros(2017), and Correa was part of the team back then.
