Undeniably he was the most appreciated player this season; and the only reason he did not top the social media race, is his less engagement on the internet.
One of the most humble and modest players in history, Ohtani has just 19 posts on his Instagram page, notably, he still has a 1.3 million following. If the Japanese star becomes more active on his social media, he might break charts in this race as well. Although, one cannot deny 30-year-old Mike Trout’s huge fan following emerges from his record of being one of the best MLB players in history.
