Agent Scott Boras praises Carlos Correa
There’s still time in the upliftment of the MLB lockout; however, at least the negotiations have resumed. Ahead of the MLB free agency craziness, Carlos made a huge agent shift to optimize his chances.
Carlos hired Scott Boras, who has fetched huge deals for Gerrit Cole and Corey Seager in the past, as his new agent. In a recent interview, Scott opened up about Carlos’ skills and why he would add value wherever he goes.
”Elite athletic skill at a premium position. One of the premium defenders-Won the Platinum Glove….one of the premier offensive players at his position. Postseason, extraordinary performance, he gets all levels met… Playing great when it matters the most in postseason, those are things few players accomplish…Very, very unique talent to acquire, “ Scott said.

New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, and Houston Astros- Top teams in the Carlos race

Yankees hardly spent in free agency before the lockout, and are the richest MLB team. If New York Yankees don’t land up Carlos, it is definitely not going to be a money factor for them. While on the other hand, Cubs and Carlos have shown mutual interest.
