Ohtani is often seen picking up trash from the field, and a fan has complied a whole video of him randomly in garbage picking up act.

While it must be a matter of cleanliness, Ohtani has a deeper reason to do so. Back in high school, Ohtani’s coach gave him a lesson that he follows to date. His coach had said, ”If you consider the trash that people drop as luck, you can get good fortune by picking it up.”

Well, Ohtani has a lot of luck on his side from the ‘trash’ as he had broken unbeatable records this season. Ohtani has also overcome ‘trash talk’ and criticism during his career to become the AL-MVP star.
