The Mets are going to potentially trade Jeff McNeil after the lockout. Notably, the 29-year-old has had some dramatic moments in the team and doesn’t have the best equation with his teammates.

Jeff McNeil’s internal conflict with his teammates
Jeff McNeil has been part of the New York Mets since the 2018 season. However, in May, a shocking event made headlines when Jeff had the infamous rat-raccoon with Francisco Lindor in the tunnel. Lindor had reportedly pinned down Jeff after he repeatedly ignored the team’s philosophy and rules.

It also came forward that Jeff did not have a positive relationship with his teammates. Reports said, ”McNeil would tell his double play partner to “shut up” and “I got it” after being advised on where to be positioned. This did not sit well with McNeil’s teammates and has still yet to be resolved.”
