The MLB fans are eagerly waiting for the lockout to come to an end; however, to their disappointment, things aren’t looking optimistic. Let alone the opening, there isn’t even any effort being made to resolve the situation.
Back in December, MLB had announced the unexpected lockout. While fans have so many expectations, a new report is making them more furious.

No efforts being made to resolve the MLB lockout issue
The Collective Bargaining Agreement was the sole reason for implementing the MLB lockout. The CBA had expired after the 2021 season, and without a new CBA, MLB declared the sad news. This adverse situation happened for the first time in 26 years.
It has been a month now and considering the spring training coming up in February, one would expect the matters to start resolving now. However, to much of a shock, no meeting has also been scheduled between MLB and the players’ association.
MLB insider, Bob Nightengale revealed, ”The first week of 2022 is resembling the last month of 2021: There are no negotiating sessions currently scheduled between MLB and the players association. They have met twice in the last month since the lockout, but strictly on non-core economic issues.”

It’s surprising how not even a single meeting has happened to address the issue, and re-open the MLB world for fans.

Expectedly, the fans are losing their patience as the officials keep on delaying the big decision. One fan tweeted saying, ”It’s like they don’t want to play. That’s a hard bet to make— they think they are bigger than the game and that fans will return no matter what. DONT PLAY WITH THE FANS. YOU MIGHT REGRET IT!”
While another fan wrote,” They should be meeting and negotiating every day. They have one job to do. Get to work.” If MLB and the players’ association, don’t want to disappoint the baseball fans anymore, they need to hurry up.
