Barry Bonds losing out on his last ever chance to establish himself as the Hall of Famer has blown up the MLB world. The main reason behind American Baseball Players Association not voting for him is speculated to be his past controversy.

An old video resurfaced on the internet reveals the conversation Jose Canseco and Barry Bonds had in the locker room about his usage of PEDs. Canseco confronted Barry on his face about his consumption.

Jose Canseco had a savage reply to Barry Bonds in the locker room

San Francisco Giants’ legendary player, Barry Bonds, is considered one of the greatest players in MLB history. However, during his career, Barry faced many allegations for using PEDs. Jose Canseco, who played for many teams like New York Yankees, Red Sox, and Oakland Athletics, opened up about his locker room conversation with Barry.

“We were in the locker there, all the other home all-star players, the home run hitters competing. And I took my shirt off and I was about 255-260 but I was ripped…the media is there and he screams across the locker he goes ” Canseco what the f*** have you been doing? ” And I look back at him and I said, “the same thing you are doing.” Saying I’m using PED’s you are doing the same thing. So he kind of shut up,” Jose said.

Further adding about Barry’s personality, he said, ”I’ve got nothing against him I hear he’s very arrogant. Won’t sign balls for players’ bats stuff like that. But I have nothing bad to say about him probably one of the greatest players.”

It was just a banter talk between two players, and no conclusions can be drawn from the above conversations.

Jose Canseco doesn’t believe PED’s help in hitting more home runs

While there are some prominent names who have been accused of using PEDs to enhance their performance, Jose discarded the thought. Jose doesn’t believe in talent over supplements. “People need to understand just because you are using PEDs it’s not going to make you a Major League Baseball player. It’s not going to make you successful. Because if it does everyone should have hit 800 home runs, I should have done that, “ Canseco made it clear.
