Chicago Cubs’ newest addition, Marcus Stroman, has been super active on social media amidst the MLB lockout. Marcus has been responding to fans and fellow players on Twitter.

Interestingly, Marcus made a challenge to a fellow pitcher in exchange for his desired gift. When more pitchers started interacting with his challenge, he opened the offer to anyone who achieved the insane numbers.

Marcus Stroman encourages fellow pitchers to win the challenge for a Rolex

Former New York Mets, pitching star, Marcus Stroman is setting out a great example by encouraging his fellow young pitchers. Triston McKenzie, Cleveland Guardians pitcher had posted a demand on his Twitter.

Notably, Marcus accepted to fulfill his wish, but not without making Triston work for it. Triston had tweeted,I need an @ROLEX with a fluted bezel” Stroman replied to it saying, ”If you go over 160 innings with a 3.7 ERA or lower this season…I’ll buy you a Rolex!”

Marcus has a golden heart as he also showed his confidence in Triston winning the challenge. ”Go get it done young king. I already know which one I’ll get him. Praying he achieves it!”

Another, pitcher Touki Toussaint tweeted asking Marcus, ” This applies to everyone?” Stroman surprisingly offered him a Rolex as well, ”I’ll extend that offer to you as well my bro. Go earn you a Rolex! 🗣”

Marcus offers a watch to Justin Verlander’s brother

After Marcus open-heartedly offered Rolex to pitchers, Justin Verlander’s brother and MLB insider, Ben Verlander also dived in for a watch.

Ben said keeping forward his requests, My show @FlippinBatsPod got up to #6 in the USA this year for MLB podcasts and #1 in Japan in my first year in this industry. If it gets up to #1 at any point in year two can I get a knock off watch? (Jk by the way. Maybe you just coming on the show)”

While the Rolex offer was just valid for the pitchers, Marcus had something else as a reward for Ben. Stroman offered him a Fossil if he achieved his goal. Marcus encouraging young pitchers to perform well with added motivation is something fresh and heartwarming to witness.
