Former New York Mets star pitcher, Marcus Stroman, joined hands with the Chicago Cubs before the MLB lockout. Notably, ahead of his debut in a Cubs jersey, Stroman has begun his preparations for the 2022 season.

Marcus, who is super active on his social media, has won many hearts already with his daily posts. Recently, Stroman gave fans a glimpse into his training session, adding some words as well.

30-year-old Marcus signed a $71 million contract valid for three years with the Chicago Cubs in free agency 2021. One of the most promising pitchers in Major League Baseball, Marcus is expected to take the Cubs to incredible heights in the upcoming season.

Notably, Marcus has already started brushing up his skills ahead of the 2022 season. Posting a video of his training session, Marcus wrote, ”Proprioception and slow motion.”

He also posted a picture of him pitching, adding a few interesting insights with it as well. ”Elite body positioning with core engaged and upper/lower-body disassociation. Longevity and health over all. When you train properly, the body moves perfectly without thought! 😈,” Marcus tweeted.

Marcus has become a pitcher on and off the field

While there is still time for him to show off his pitching skills on the field, he has become a ‘pitcher’ for Chicago Cubs on social media. Interestingly, Marcus has been pitching to top shortstop like Carlos Correa to join the Chicago Cubs.

Earlier, Marcus had tweeted to Carlos, saying, ”Need you in Chicago my dawg!” While Carlos is yet to reply to his appeal, things will be clear once the lockout is over.
