While there is a lockout, the controversies and twists about free agency are still making headlines. Star free agent, Carlos Correa has said to have a mutual interest with Chicago Cubs, now one more player has shown interest in the team.

Trevor Bauer open to joining Chicago Cubs in future

Lately, there have been strong reports around Cubs’ interest in signing Carlos Correa. This has increased the hopes of Cubs’ fans, who themselves have also started pitching to Carlos on social media. Interestingly, another Cubs’ fan tried to convince the LA Dodgers pitcher, Trevor Bauer.

While Trevor is not a free agent yet, he definitely had a positive response. Fan had tweeted saying, ”you really would’ve loved playing for the Cubs. City would’ve gone nuts for you.”

Trevor replied to the tweet, ”Still got 15 years to go. If the people want it, we can make it happen. I am for the people.” The LA Dodgers should lookout, as Cubs’ fans might help their team in hijacking Trevor.

Cubs’ fans morphed a song for Carlos Correa

A few days back, the Cubs fans made a sweet gesture to convince Correa to join their team. Cubs’ fans morphed a famous Christmas song lyrics to “Come play in Chicago, Correa.” While Carlos could not reply directly to their request, he replied saying, “Happy Holidays to you all 🎄💙.”

Carlos Correa and Cubs’ potential relationship has taken many turns. The latest report stated that Cubs are interested in signing him; however, they are doubtful about giving him a long-term contract.
