The past few months have not been great for the game of baseball. Notably, when the owners and players couldn’t reach an agreement for the new CBA, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred canceled a few games of the regular season. And it is not a good sign for baseball.

However, when MLB is in the lockout, baseball fans have an alternative. They can watch college-level baseball games, and even there are some independent leagues for fans. However, that is not the case for MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred.

Earlier this week, two college-level baseball teams have banned Manfred from entering their stadiums.

Kalamazoo Growlers and Bismarck Larks ban MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred

Notably, with at least 90 games wiped away from the regular season, fans have no option but to watch the independent leagues or college-level baseball games. Ever since Manfred has canceled the league games. Probably every baseball fan is blaming him for the current scenario of Major League Baseball.

However, in an attempt to teach a lesson to Manfred, recently, two college-level baseball teams have banned the league commissioner from entering their stadiums. Taking to their official Twitter account, Kalamazoo Growlers, and Bismarck Larks, the Growlers shared a statement.

In which it said, they have placed a lifetime ban on current MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred. the statement from Kalamazoo Growlers said that the owners are simply trying to ruin the baseball for their financial gain.

“The Kalamazoo Growlers, a collegiate baseball team and member of the Northwoods League, have placed a lifetime ban on current MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred at Homer Stryker Field effective immediately…,” said the statement from the Growlers.”

“Amid the lockout, Manfred and the MLB team owners have shown only interest in money and not providing baseball for their players and fans. They are trying to ruin baseball simply for their financial gain.”

While another baseball team, Bismarck Larks also imposed a ban on Rob Manfred. Their statement said the club has banned Manfred until the lockout exists in MLB.

Notably, with the lockout still going on, fans are desperate to go and watch the games in ballparks. But, before April, it is very unlikely that any team will play a game in MLB.
