After a silent two months in MLB, there have been lots of activities in the last week. Even after meeting a couple of times, the owners and players have not found a solution for the new agreement. The MLB owners are keen to get the season start as soon as possible, but at the same time, they are not ready to accept the players’ demands. And considering the current scenario in MLB, the Mets star Trevor May blamed Rob Manfred for this complicated situation.

With the lockout still in force, spring training and the opening day of MLB are most likely to be compromised this season. The negotiation between the players’ association and the owners for the new agreement has not been positive.

Ever since the owners have requested the players’ to bring the Federal Mediation on the board, the situation in MLB is getting more complicated. Now, the New York Mets star Trevor May has targeted the league commissioner Rob Manfred for the lockout.

During his twitch live stream, the Mets’ pitcher slammed the league commissioner and said that Manfred and his team are going to leverage every single ounce. May said that Manfred thinks of all players as a dollar sign and he doesn’t have good faith.

“He and his team, all the executives are going to leverage every single ounce. This is not a mutually beneficial situation, they want to win. In the past, there has been respect for the game of baseball. And these things are not on Rob’s radar. they are just not important to him. He just doesn’t really think about the fan as a fan. He thinks of all of us as a dollar sign,” said Trevor May on Rob Manfred.
