Even before the lockout, the rumors of Carlos Correa joining the Cubs were making rounds of the internet. And now since the market is open, many believe that Correa will ultimately land at the Chicago Cubs. But are Cubs the preferred destination for the star himself?
Apart from Chicago Cubs, teams like the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, or for that matter, any other team would welcome Correa with open arms. And when it comes down to the Red Sox, then none other than NBA legend, LeBron James, might just be the negotiator to seal the deal.
Can LeBron James lure Carlos Correa to sign for the Boston Red Sox?
Considering his talent and age, any team would want Correa on their side. But that being said, landing Correa will also mean paying a huge sum. Though Correa’s rumors with the Cubs are very strong, he is yet to sign any contract with them. However, if the Boston Red Sox intends to sign Correa instead, taking a little help from LeBron James might actually work for them.

Now, as a part-owner of the Red Sox, if the Boston-based team really intends to sign Correa, LeBron James might be a key to the deal. But, it will be needed only if the Red Sox considers signing free agent Carlos Correa in the first place.
