Hawk himself reposted the story and wrote, “My wife’s take on my ambitious recovery.” Hawk has revealed before that he aims to recover by his birthday, which is in May.
However, it takes almost 4 to 6 months to completely recover from a femoral fracture. But even that being said, Hawk is no layman. He is going all-out in his bid to recover faster. Only two weeks after his injury, he was already back on the skateboard.
Hawk to keep skateboarding as long as he can
At the Oscars, even though Hawk came with a cane, when he was actually up on stage to present, he was spotted walking with ease without any help. This is quite admirable because Hawk seems to be recovering sooner than expected.
Hawk has also revealed that he plans to keep on skateboarding for as long as possible, despite retiring from the sport.
