Paris Saint Germain’s collapse to Real Madrid in the UCL shocked the world of soccer. After heading to the Santiago Bernabeu with a 1-0 lead, they couldn’t capitalize on their first leg performance and lost 3-2 on aggregate. Hence, many fans have questioned the team’s mentality after the match.
But, in those two matches, Kylian Mbappe produced one of the best individual performances in the Champions League. Notably, that very performance has now led Lamont Marcell Jacobs, reigning Olympic 100-meters champion, to gain his acquaintance.

Kylian Mbappe gets invited to the Olympics
After watching his blistering pace during those matches, Twitter couldn’t rest easy. They morphed Kylian’s face to Marcell Jacobs’ body. The tweet read, “We want Pemp? at the 100 meters of the next Olympics.”?
The 100-meters Olympic gold medalist took notice, as Jacobs shared the post and invited Mbappe for a workout session. Truly, the prospects of Mbappe competing at the Olympics will be something to savor.

The French forward displayed his pace to score a smashing goal in the Champions League. After receiving the ball on the left flank, he charged past the defenders and scored a precise finish to the bottom corner of the net.
The high-octane pace at which he went was absolutely incredible. Hence, having him compete at the Olympics with Jacobs by his side will be special. Moreover, he has got some serious pace within himself as he matched Usain Bolt in a league game in France, back in 2019.
Mbappe faster than Bolt?
During a league match against Monaco 3 years ago, Mbappe displayed his stunning pace to give PSG the lead. Remarkably, he ran from the halfway line to receive the ball from his teammate and clocked a high speed of 23.61mph (38kph).
Nonetheless, that sprint broke the pace Bolt averaged back at the 2009 World Championships, where he set the 100-meters world record of 9.58. Bolt clocked a pace of 23.35mph (37.58kph0). But, he reached a top speed of 27.79 mph (44.72kph) during that legendary sprint.
