Legacy of Florence Griffith-Joyner
Remarkably, Nezhoda bought the memorabilia from a thrift store in Poway, California. The owner of the thrift store, George, claimed her storage locker back in 2014 in San Diego. Nezhoda bought it from him and sold it to Florence’s husband Al Joyner. The moment became emotional for him as he opened up about the gesture.
“I know he is on a TV show and all that, but he really is a great guy and really warms my heart,” said Joyner.

Understandably, Nezhoda sold it off to Joyner as he revealed the reasons for not selling it for free.
“I want to be very clear. This is not charity; I am making a profit. Al knows what I paid for it and he is the only person that knows what I paid for it. I told him the profit I want to make. It?s like a track runner, you want to win,” said Nezhoda.
