Usain Bolt is currently promoting events in Dubai as a part of the Dubai Expo 2020. There, he spoke about his beloved club and how Ronaldo’s presence makes a difference. Scoring last-minute winners time and again, Ronaldo has often pulled United out of the jaws of defeat.
“Cristiano [Ronaldo] has saved us every game. One guy has to do all that work. We have not played good football in so long. It is so relaxed. We pass so slowly. When Alex Ferguson was manager, we had to win because he would demand you win,” said Bolt.

Although the club’s performances have left many people undesired, CR7’s performances solely have been incredible. Time after time, he scores vital goals to keep United at bay. His last-minute goals against Villareal and twice against Atlanta spared the club’s blushes from defeat. Hence, Ronaldo’s contributions are important to the club while Bolt?sympathizes with the forward.
Ronaldo has scored nine goals this season with five goals coming in the Champions League. The game against Tottenham Hotspur saw him score a wonderful volley, hoping to bring United out of their slump. However, things went south when Liverpool came in and thrashed them 5-0 at Old Trafford.
The over-reliance on Ronaldo might dampen their hopes for the season. With the player now 36, managing his fitness would be key to United’s success. Undoubtedly, other players need to step up and support the player so that United can be where they belong, right at the top.
