American track and field star Fred Kerley has given some great openings this season. Fred won the Silver medal at the 100m at Tokyo Summer Olympics 2020. The earlier 400m sprinter is now considered a tough competitor at the 100 meters.

In the Athletics season-opening, Kerley has managed to post some impressive timings. This includes the 10 ? 00 on 100, 20 ? 00 on 200, and 44 ? 00 on 400. This makes him one of the 3 athletes in the world to break these three records.

In Coral Gables, Florida, Kerley has successfully managed to give stunning performances for all three races, the 100m, the 200m, and the 400m. The athlete is now one of the best in the world. More so because he competes in all three distances.

Kerley smashes 400m and 200m, goes ahead to smash 100m as well

Previously, Fred Kerley only competed in the 400 meters. Here, he is the 8th fastest man in the world. But before the Summer Olympics, he tried his hands on the 100m and 200m. It clicked right away. The very versatile athlete now competes in all the 3 distances.

In Florida, Fred Kerley first finished the 4o0m with a timing of 44.47. This is currently the best world performance of the year. Again, Kerley went ahead to finish the 200m with a timing of 20.04. Notably, this is also the best performance of the year till now.

But Kerley did not stop there. At the 100m, Fred Kerley gave a phenomenal timing of 9.99 seconds. This just shows the amount of potential that Kerley has. Not only did he ace the other two distances, but he also aced the 100, which he only just began recently.

Kerley is heavily motivated this year. And it’s only the beginning of the season. 2022 will witness many more events, where Fred will have the opportunity to grab the medals.

Fred Kerley has made it clear that he wants to break records this year. The Olympic silver medalist is not going to slow down. At the beginning of the season itself, he has set the standard for other athletes.
