Fred Kerley, a rising star of track and field, is less talk and more action. Just last week, Kerley beat Michael Norman to become the 200m Champion at the Golden Games with a time of 19.80 seconds. The Tokyo Olympics 100m Silver Medalist, who used to compete in the 200m and 400m earlier, is one of the few athletes to run sub 10 in 100, sub 20 in 200m, and sub 44 in 400m.

Fred Kerley gears up for the 2022 Athletic Season
The USATF Golden Games were one of the first events in the 2022 Athletic season. The ultimate showdown will happen during the World Outdoor Athletics Championships in June. Ahead of the meet, all the athletes are training hard and Fred Kerley is one of them.
After his Golden Games success, the athlete, who wishes to become the ultimate sprinter to grace the track, has set some new goals for himself. Kerley dropped a solid photo on Thursday to mark his journey towards greatness.
“Heard you couldn?t market greatness because you can?t control it,” posted Kerley. The photo itself is too good to be true. The words “The World’s Best” appear on the wall ahead of him as he takes on the challenge.
If he is to live up to the words, he will have to eclipse?Usain Bolt’s 100m (9.58 secs) and the 200m (19.19 secs) records.
Kerley is a man on a mission
Fred Kerley has taken it upon himself to become the greatest. He is working hard day and night to reach his goal. Currently, his personal best stands at 9.84 for the 100m, 19.76 for the 200m, and 43.64 for the 400m. However, the athlete plans on going much, much faster than this.
Although he has already beaten legends like Justin Gatlin and Andre De Grasse, his ultimate goal is to beat the GOAT- Usain Bolt.
