Twitter exchanges between Usain Bolt and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce are not a new trend. They have been at it since they started supporting Manchester United and Arsenal, respectively. Hence, coming to the Super Sunday, United took on Manchester City in a derby match while Arsenal played relegation contenders Watford. The results, though, were in favor of Arsenal.

The Gunners won the match and leapfrogged over United to fourth place; who in the meantime, suffered a devastating loss to Manchester City. With the top four places in doubt for the club, the current scenario of the club is disheartening, nonetheless. Fraser-Pryce, however, took to Twitter to troll United as Bolt made a comeback.

In the game, Manchester City, the league leaders, handed United a humiliating loss by defeating them 4-1. As the English Premier League title race is heading to the wire, both clubs had different ambitions. United is looking to get into the top four after falling short of expectations of winning a title. However, Arsenal is climbing up the ladder to stay in fourth place, with games in hand. Fraser-Pryce, in the meantime, didn’t take much time to take a banter at United by posting a picture of the scoreline.

As for Bolt, he doesn’t hide away in supporting his club. A charismatic personality, Bolt often attends matches at Old Trafford to see his favorite club play. He always tweets about his club’s matches and other matters. As Fraser-Pryce tweeted this post, Bolt replied in a humorous way stating “Gonna tell your Coach you need to train on a Sunday”; to which Fraser-Pryce mentioned, “Seem a nuh me alone.”?Hence, it was a great Twitter battle between two of the most legendary athletes, in athletics history.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce wants to play for Arsenal
As for Fraser-Pryce, she had earlier expressed her love for the club. An ardent follower of the great Thierry Henry, Fraser-Pryce had mentioned before she would love to try out with the Arsenal Ladies team, after her sprinting career.
“When I?m retired I?ll come and try out for the Arsenal Ladies team. And who knows, maybe I?ll get in just by speed alone. I?ll play forward, as long as everybody else passes me the ball. That?s fine, I?ll do that. I think I?ll work good running the flank too!” said Fraser-Pryce.
