Amid the whirlwind of excitement surrounding Drake‘s latest album ‘For All The Dogs’ and his unexpected collaboration with NBA star Kevin Durant, a surprising champion emerged from the shadows. In a world where music and sports often collide, Stephen A. Smith stepped forward to laud Drake’s business acumen, and his reasoning might just surprise you.

With hits like ‘God’s Plan’ and ‘Laugh Now Cry Later,’ Drake has proven time and again that he’s a force to be reckoned with in the hip-hop world. But why does he continue to dominate the scene when, as some argue, hip-hop is supposed to be a young man’s game?

Great artist with a greater business plan

Stephen A. Smith, in his latest YouTube video, praised Drake’s audience appeal and said, “I will say this no matter how old we are in this age the targeted demographic is always younger folks 25 to 49.”  With recent controversies around Drake speeding up, Smith put a different angle of his thoughtfulness on Drake’s strategy.

Stephen A. Smith made a good point on Drake’s smart business moves and said, “Anybody who gravitates and ingratiates them to that demographic, usually, it translates into success so the fact that Drake is in his late 30s and is still appealing to those younger souls, props to him. Ain’t nothing to throw any shade on about that’s just smart business and if you going to put in work why not be a businessman or a woman while you doing it why not make that money Joe.” Smith called out on Joe Budden with a business mindset on the whole thing.

The feud between Drake and Joe Budden regarding Bad Bunny signing

The feud between Drake and Joe Budden has been ongoing for several years, with the two artists often clashing over their views on music and the industry. Most recently, the feud was reignited when Budden criticized Drake’s new album, “For All the Dogs,” on his podcast. Budden suggested that Drake should be rapping about more mature topics given his age, rather than catering to a younger fan base.

Drake responded to Budden’s criticism in a lengthy comment on a post from DJ Akademiks that featured a clip from the podcast. He defended his music and questioned Budden’s influence in the rap industry.

There doesn’t seem to be any specific mention of Bad Bunny in the context of their feud. The signing of Bad Bunny to Drake’s record label, OVO Sound, was claimed by Birdman, another record producer. This claim has stirred up the hip-hop community but doesn’t appear to be directly related to the feud between Drake and Joe Budden.
