Lindsey Vonn has never failed to make the news. Her appeal is so vast that her sponsors, Red Bull, wanted Lindsey to become a part of their racing crew as a driver. They even gave her an offer. But a stalemate on the conditions meant the deal fell through.

Another career opportunity was presented to her by a close friend, Dwayne Johnson. The WWE superstar gave Vonn a chance to peek at a potential career option once she retired from Alpine skiing.

Lindsey Vonn and Dwayne share a famous friendship. Having met in the unlikeliest of manners, they have grown to respect each other, often guiding one another. Vonn is thankful for Johnson’s presence in her life as he has helped her during some tough times. As Vonn got ready for her final Olympics, she sat down to discuss her potential future.

Talking about Hollywood, Lindsey said Dwayne offered to show her around the glamorous world of films. “He said he’s going to help me after the season, and I can follow him around a little bit and see if it’s really something that I would potentially be able to do.” Vonn also talked, swapping her skis for a business venture. She became an investor in the ski equipment brand, Yniq, in 2019.

Dwayne’s offer to Vonn was not one just of words. The WWE superstar has become immensely popular with his entry into the film world. He is an A-lister in Hollywood and is one of the highest-paid actors in the world. Only Daniel Craig (who will earn $100 million through Netflix) outranks him in the category.

Lindsey’s life post-retirement

She also launched her ski collection with the sportswear brand ‘Head’. Apart from this, Vonn also penned a memoir called ‘Rise: My Story,’ which came out earlier this year in January.
