Despite showcasing impeccable sliding skills on the renowned Lauberhorn track, he was surpassed by the impressive performance of two-time Wengen winner Marco Odermatt, who secured the top spot by a remarkable 0.81 seconds. Kilde, resilient as ever, claimed third place. The post featured a series of pictures capturing Kilde in his skiing gear, accompanied by a caption expressing gratitude for being able to kick off the classics.

The post was captioned, “Thankful to have the ability to get out there today to kick off the classics!! Truthfully, I’ve been horizontal since the flower ceremony…gotta rest up for the next two races! No words for you, @marcoodermatt – unreal …congrats to you.” However, Mikaela, embodying the perfect girlfriend, shared a heartwarming story on Instagram after Kilde’s victory.
