“Second Best Skier on the Planet”: As Influencer Goes Viral for Skiing on the Most Unlikely Terrain the Internet Cannot Hold Back

Alpine Skiing is a sport that requires only two things, first is your skiing gear and second is snow. However, many skiing enthusiasts try this adventure with only one aspect of skiing. It means some stunt lovers try skiing without snow. They try it in dense forests, roads, and even streets. This can certainly be very dangerous. However, to chase the thrill associated with it, the influencers do it anyway. 

Skiing in such terrains is very famous, as various Youtubers and blog makers often perform such montages and post videos of their sprees on their social media. However, skiing without snow can be pretty dangerous because snow makes the surface smooth but without snow, the track can be rough, leading to fall off the board. This daring stunt requires a lot of skills, stability, and coordination. On the same note, a forest skiing video was recently shared on the internet by Candide Thovex, the French professional skier, which rendered fans in absolute disbelief.

Candide Thovex skiing in a unique way 

Candide is also considered the greatest freeride skier of all time. He has a history with this sport because his father was a trainer at La Cluzas Station, and he joined skiing school when he was six. Candide also has three gold medals in the Winter X Games and he also won a Chamonix stage. He then changed his career to filmmaking after injuring himself in 2007, but that did not cease his enthusiasm for skiing. Candide often posts his free ride videos on the internet that have become quite famous among his fans. 

He recently shared a video on Instagram showing off his skiing skills in the forests with his skier friend, Aziz Benkrich. The two were seen sloping down the dense forest and it was very smooth.

As Candide is a professional skier, he managed to finish it smoothly without getting injured. However, after entering the wild bushes, he began to lose his balance and fall there. Aziz was recording the whole video while sloping down, following the track of Candide. After watching this insane video of skiing without snow, sports fans were left stunned. 

The insane free ride video drove fans crazy

Skiing fans were used to watching the accustomed skiing video which includes ice, but this video was something unusual that drove the fans crazy. One fan said, “The second best skier on the planet is his cameraman.” An Instagram user praised the skills of Candide, “Nobody: “define smoothness”….Candide: “hold my beer”. After seeing the insane video, one fan made a hilarious comment and said, “Have you ever heard of mountain biking?” A former ski racer, Trevor Kennison, also commented on this video saying, “So sick !” The post received many more comments like, “That’s hot!!… I’m sorry I had to…”

This unique skiing video received worldwide comments from various fans and skiing enthusiasts. He influenced many across the globe to try this adventure at least once in a lifetime. But, it seemed so smooth because Candide is a professional skier and it requires a lot of coordination, learning, training, skills development, and stability. Candide always wanted to take this sport beyond the professional set of boundaries and tracks to feel its essence forever, which he has proudly achieved.
