“Great Spot to Rehabilitate”: Days After Going Through 10th Surgery, Alpine Skiing Legend Lindsey Vonn’s Recent Update Rekindles Hope Among Fans

Apart from the thrill and adrenaline, sliding down the snow-covered slopes can also bring a sense of danger with it. Every year, around sixty thousand injuries happen while snowboarders and alpine skiers make powder lines on the chilly mountains. And even an Olympic skier cannot survive the mighty slopes without getting hurt.

Lindsey Vonn, a gold medal-winning Olympic alpine skier, has gone through 10 knee surgeries after suffering a gnarly injury while skiing. And after her recent knee surgery, the athlete has kept her fans updated on her recovery. Recently, the athlete also posted a few new photos enjoying a vacation in the waters.

On August 10, Lindsey Vonn blessed the feed of her fans. The athlete posted a few pictures of herself enjoying a vacation with the caption “Doctor-approved activities.” In the pictures, Vonn was seen showing off her muscles in a red two-piece on a yacht while wearing a knee band on an injured knee in Lake Powell. The skier was also seen enjoying a trip in the waters of Powell River on a Yamaha jetski.

This post came only a few weeks after the skier went under the knife for the 10th time. In July, the athlete revealed on Instagram that she underwent another surgery to fix her LLC. In 2019, the skier tore her lateral collateral ligament and has gone through many surgeries to repair the ligament.

The athlete also had to bid farewell to Alpine skiing after this injury. Amid these rough times, Lindsey Vonn has posted many updates for her fans since the surgery, including a scar reveal video. However, this picture has truly made the Vonn fans happy, for the first time since the injury, they witnessed the athlete soaking up the good vibes and connecting with nature.

After Vonn’s post, many fans poured their love for the athlete, one fan who applauded the 38-year-old’s beauty stated, “Wow, really amazing! She looks beautiful, babe!” One fan who wants the athlete to get back to health penned down the comment, “I hope your revalidation goes well.” Moreover, a fan who found the spot a good place to heal commented, “Great spot to rehabilitate..”A fan wishing the athlete luck for her rehab stated, Hey, good luck on the knee rehab.
