The 27-year-old athlete made history in a giant slalom event with her 83rd World Cup victory in Kronplatz, Italy. Surprisingly, this is her season’s 9th world cup success. What a champion! Norwegian alpine skier and partner, Aleksander Aamodt Kilde congratulated Shiffrin on her grand triumph by adding a heartwarming Instagram story. Specifically, he added a video of the epic moment when she was declared as the winner. He wrote, “GOAT” for his champion other half, as she expressed her pride by lifting her hands in joy.

Evidently, it’s been a great start for the duo’s professional careers, since even Kilde aced the men’s downhill 2023 World Cup this week in Kitzbühel. He got ahead of his competitors at a significant pace and finished gloriously. Even though he was placed sixth in the alpine event, he steered clear of a probable crash that could’ve turned out ugly.
