She’s undoubtedly the GOAT in her sporting realm and is wishing to secure the record 6th WC title. But the two-time Olympic gold medalist has earned a position in history for another milestone achievement.

In St. Moritz, Switzerland, the world gazed in awe as the 28-year-old almost flew through the air to win the Downhill event. To celebrate this victorious moment, Stifel has posted on Instagram and captioned the post as Another success story for Mikaela Shiffrin! Along with her 91st World Cup win, she’s also celebrating a phenomenal milestone of 100 career victories spanning World Cups, World Championships, and the Olympics!

The video featured the untamed skier in all her glory, captured in frame-worthy angles. Despite her uncalled for knee injury, the 28-year-old has proven her worth with back-to-back stellar displays. Having said so, the Olympian had prioritized giant slalom and slalom over downhill, but her technical skills shone through this time.

Since skiing isn’t all about speed, Sofia Goggia lost her chance in her strongest suit. Whereas, Shiffrin is now the proud owner of 55 slalom, 21 giant slalom, 5 Super-G and 4 downhill victories. To honor her illustrious career, the Time magazine has included her among the top 100 most influential people in the world in 2023. So, to sum up, and looking at her finesse in her sport, she’s one-of-a-kind according to her long-term partner.
