Winter is here. The mountains of North America have been covered in cold white layers of snow. And amid this snow, skiers have followed their call to nature as they embark on a journey to leave their marks on the untouched snow. Argentinian skier Sascha Geist has also begun his skiing journey in the native hills of North America.

Skier Sascha Geist is known for skiing down the slopes of huge snow mountains. Interestingly, the Argentinian skier, who has faced many snowy slopes with incredible speed and stamina, never shies away from posting his adventures on his social media handle. Along similar lines, recently, the Argentinian skier posted another reel on Instagram showing off his skills as he runs down the slopes effortlessly through the snowy mountains of Argentina.

On 24th July, Sascha Geist posted a reel with the caption “Taking advantage of the Puelche.” The skier in the video was seen showing off his exceptional skills. Geist slowly began skiing his way down the chute, and after gaining the right balance and speed, the skier swiftly zigzagged his way through the untouched powder on the mountains. The athlete was skiing in a dangerous area of a ski resort Cerro Chapelco, located in the Andes mountains in Argentina.

The home of the Pulche people has just faced a snowstorm that left behind 20 inches of snow on the mountain. The storm was the first major storm the area has faced in 2023, declaring that winter has officially arrived. More so, the forecast has also predicted that the resorts of the Andes will have 27 inches added to them throughout this week. The average fall in the area is 100 inches per year. Many avid skiers have been waiting for the North American season.

Adrian Millan Pla skiing on the slopes of Argentina

K2 professional skier Adrian Millan Pla has also joined the list of skiers on the North American slopes. On July 14, Adrian Millan Pla also posted a video on Instagram of her skiing on the slopes of Argentina. The professional skier was seen squeezing through the couloirs of the Mendoza chutes with high speed and doing a 360-degree turn in the end.

In essence, the snowstorm in the Andes just began the journey of this year’s skiing journey. And with time, the snow will just increase as North America will completely enter the winter season. Hopefully, the chutes will witness avid skiers swifting away on the snow, leaving behind their own set of powder lines.
