Lindsey Vonn, the famed alpine skiing star, has been a prominent presence not just in the skiing industry but also in the sports field as a whole. On the skiing grounds, Vonn has conquered stages from the World Championships to the Olympics to reign her dominant presence. However, as much as the skier has remained renowned in her primary sport, she has ensured to embrace the rest equally.

The three-time Olympic medalist has been in association with other fields of the sporting; if not professionally then as a staunch supporter. This time around, the skiing icon has stepped up once again to show her love for yet another fellow athlete, and it extends the boundaries of sport.

Lindsey Vonn has a message for fellow athlete

Michael Strahan for 15 years, has held prominence as defensive end for the New York Giants. However, in recent times, the NFL star has grown to be a popular television figure with his presence on GMA and as a journalist. Conquering both fields well over the years, the icon today stands to celebrate his 52nd birthday and not in a regular path. Following Strahan’s big day, Linsey Vonn took to her Instagram to share a wish for the icon. “Happy birthday Strah,” Vonn wrote as she shared a picture of the two smiling brightly for the camera.

Lindsey’s wish however wasn’t the sole highlight for the NFL star. His return to the sets of GMA where he has been working for the past 7 years, seems to have provided a heartfelt welcome for the star; following the saddening absence from the sets.

Updates on Strahan’s absence

Michael Strahan started working for the GMA in 2016 following his exit from Live With Kelly and Michael. However, after years of continued presence, the former NFL player was forced on a hiatus for 3 weeks. According to the LA Times, Strahan took a break from hosting due to concerns involving his family matters.

On the 21st of November, GMA reported that Michael Strahan was finally back for his duties, in high spirits on his 52nd birthday. The show also reported that the star’s return also brought tears of joy to the co-workers.
