Mikaela Shiffrin, the ultimate alpine skiing queen not just completed her 88th World Cup wins but also received an ESPY award. Her accomplishments are being celebrated across the world. From Mark Zuckerberg’s meta team to her dear ones, everyone is commending her victory in ESPY. 

Shiffrin is also widely known for her kindness and humble behavior. Recently, the Chihuly Studio also celebrated Shiffrin’s accomplishments with a Chihuly special sculpture. Chihuly Studio based in Seattle, Washington, is known for the work of great American Artist Dale Chihuly. Dale is famous across the world for his exceptional glass art and his work was exhibited in more than 200 museums. The Chihuly Studio recently posted a picture with Mikaela Shiffrin celebrating ESPY 2023 win.

The event was held in Denver with US Ski and US snowboard teams. The studio customized a special sculpture and named it after the alpine queen Mikaela Shiffrin to celebrate her impeccable achievements. The golden sculpture has an Amaryllis flower design on it depicting the graceful stellar performer. 

The president and CEO of Chihuly Studio expressed her honor to the alpine skier, stating, “Celebrating Mikaela Shiffrin at a US Ski and Snowboard Team event in Denver. What an honor to present her with a Chihuly sculpture, which we called “The Mikaela”. She is not only the greatest alpine skier of all time, she received the ESPY last week as the greatest athlete in the world. What an inspiration. And she’s got many races ahead!” The Olympian’s achievement of ESPY was celebrated by the meta threads team also. A few days after she made a witty comment about the top accounts list on meta threads, the meta team sent her flowers to congratulate her on her ESPY win.

The celebration has not ceased ever since Shiffrin won her ESPY 2023 for best athlete in women’s sport, on 12th July. Earlier this month, she reposted a list on her Instagram story manifesting the top 6 accounts on meta-threads on which her name was listed as fourth. She comically called it a ‘typo,’ to which the threads team replied today with a bouquet and a note congratulating her for ESPY. The team also appreciated her precious contribution to their meta team which delighted Mikaela as well.
