When asked by Jones about how it feels to be this Olympic icon, then turn around and have a baby, and on top of that, have the society doubt her skills after being a mother. Felix to this expressed, “It’s so hard, and women have been doing it forever…and the thing about it is just not being supported. Everyone wants the glory moment when everything is great and when you’ve come back and you’ve gone through the struggles but they don’t want to support you through that and that’s what I experienced.”. She then further added that the major problem that arises here is the lack of support. The Olympian highlighted the point that everyone wishes to be a part of the glory until everything is great.

However, when the struggle kicks in, the support is nowhere to be found at that stage of life for women. She was able to keep her opinions on the table so neatly because she herself has been through the same in her career and is usually seen supporting and sharing posts for motherhood on her social media.
