Now, as his 50th birthday approaches, the living legend has special plans for it.
Inspired by his former rival, Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler is planning to publish a book on his 50th birth anniversary. Like many other bodybuilders, Cutler uses newsletters to communicate with his fans. In his recent newsletter, Jay Cutler got candid with his fans, and shared his plans for the upcoming occasion.
Jay Cutler reveals his plans for his 50th birthday

In the newsletter titled, ‘My life story is coming…’ 4x Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler wrote, “For some time I have been writing my own life story, in the form of a physical book. Ronnie Coleman released his and now with my 50th birthday coming this year, I felt now was the time to release mine.”
Furthermore, Mr. Fourth Quarter shared that the book will reveal stories that have never been told before. He further claims that the book will bring the readers closer to him. It will enable them to see the journey Cutler has been on over the last 50 years, like never before.
Though the inspiration behind Cutler’s idea is none other than the 8x Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman, there was once a time when they were rivals. However, even though Cutler dethroned his rival, he believes he did not beat Coleman fair and square.
Mr. Fourth Quarter believes he never beat the King
Jay Cutler was one of the bodybuilders featured in the documentary based on Coleman’s life. While talking about the King and their on-stage competition in 2006, Cutler revealed that he never considerd himself as the one who beat Ronnie Coleman.

Explaining his reasons, Jay Cutler added that both he and Ronnie Coleman weren’t in their best forms on the day of the said competition. However, fortunately, Cutler just happened to be the better one among the two that day. Therefore, he believes he never beat The King even though he was the one to dethrone him and end his reign.
