The world could never forget the action-comedy star, Jackie Chan. His early martial arts prowess established him as a martial arts and acting legend in both the east and west. Chan has also encountered numerous stars in his acting career. In an interview with David Letterman back in 1997 on the TV show “Late Show,” Jackie Chan’s friend and actor Michelle Yeoh revealed a lot of things about Chan.

The way she portrayed the martial arts legend was hilarious. She has worked with Chan a lot of times and is one of his close friends as well. One of their work wonders also includes the 1992 Supercop.
Spilling the tea in the Letterman show
Michelle Yeoh is a Malaysian actress who started her career in Hong Kong films. She also rose to fame in the 1990s. She met Chan in the mid-1980s on the set of a television commercial.
?No, actually he?s a male chauvinistic pig. Jackie and I are very good friends. I say this to him you know to his face you know he always believes that women should stay at home and cook and don?t do anything and be the victim. Except for Michelle now he said because I would kick his butt,? Yeoh said in the interview.

The martial arts movie star called out her friend and remembered the day she heard she was going to be in a 007 movie. What a way to remember! Although the path Yeoh had chosen didn’t turn out to be as she expected because fate had a different plan for her.
Similarities with Jackie Chan
Michelle Yeoh and Jackie Chan despite their differences share one common thing. They both do their stunts on their own. Even after knowing the risks involved in it, Yeoh doesn’t fear to take those on, just like Chan.

She has dislocated her shoulder, cracked her vertebrae and her ribs, but is fortunate enough that she doesn’t have any specific broken bones. She does take pride in that! The same goes for Chan. During his time, there was no CGI or advanced technology to support him during stunts. This resulted in him doing everything on his own. And some of his stunts caused horrific injuries.
