Along with having world-class prowess in several martial arts techniques, Chuck Norris also is a great actor who took the world by storm. Just like his friend Bruce Lee, Chuck also performed some commendable fighting prompts in his cinematic metier. And, interestingly, because of his fighting virtuoso, Norris once bagged an opportunity to work alongside Lee in an action comedy film. However, Norris raised a stipulation before going ahead to work with the Little Phoenix.
The Chun Kuk Do fighter shared a close-knit friendship with the martial arts demigod, Bruce Lee. They even collaborated for pursuing many projects together. The?Way of the Dragon is one such blockbuster project where the two legends shared the screen. However, before appearing in the film?s fighting sequence against Lee, Norris placed a rather bizarre contingency.

As per the reports of Wing Chun Kung Fu, the Little Phoenix approached Chuck to work alongside him in the 1972 action comedy film, The Way of the Dragon. Moreover, Lee was the director of the movie and wanted to perform a sequence with ?a really good fight scene? in it.?

Interestingly, Norris accepted Lee?s generous offer, and asserted, ?the only way we can have a fight scene is, you know if I get to hit you once in a while.??The Little Dragon accepted Chuck’s offer and stated, ?we’d make it a back-and-forth type of fight.??So, Bruce Lee?s character Tang Lung and Chuck?s character Colt presented one of the most astounding fight sequences of martial arts.
The movie became ?the biggest-grossing movie in the history of Asia?. Clearly, the pair did a commendable job of executing such a detailed fighting sequence, under the direction of the legend himself.
Norris and Lee?s friendship
Both the legends first met at the Karate tournament in 1968. From that point on, they become close acquaintances. Norris and Lee even worked out together and practiced several martial arts prompts with each other. And later, in 1972, they finally shared the screen together. However, after the untimely demise of his friend, Chuck continued to carry forward Lee?s legacy.

Whenever any opportunity arises, The Delta Force actor never shies away from speaking highly about the Little Dragon. Chuck really adored and was fascinated by Lee?s persona. They indeed shared great dynamics.
