The Giants produced a well-rounded display to beat their fierce rivals and take a 1-0 lead in the NLDS. During their victory, their stars also made an impressive play on the field which would easily make any highlight reel.
San Francisco Giants make stunning double play in the fourth inning
In the top of the fourth inning, Justin Turner stepped up to the plate after Corey Seager ran to first base. The 36-year-old sent a pitch from Giants pitcher Logan Webb straight down the middle. What ensued next was sheer brilliance from the NL West champions.
Tommy La Stella picked up the ball and tossed it up in flamboyant fashion. The ball then landed in the hands of Brandon Crawford, who stepped on the second base plate to get Seager out. He then tossed the ball to the first base plate in time to get Turner out as well.

The Giants already held a 2-0 lead before this play courtesy a two-run home run from Buster Posey. The 34-year-old smashed a flyball from Walker Buehler in the bottom of the first inning outside Oracle Park. In fact, the ball landed right in the waters of the San Francisco Bay, with a man on a boat netting it.
The Giants added two more runs in the seventh and eighth innings to complete a convincing 4-0 victory over the Dodgers.
