Dansby Swanson and Jorge Soler smash crucial home runs for the Atlanta Braves
Following their struggles in hitting two days ago, the Astros started the top of the first inning with their first runs. Carlos Correa recorded an RBI which saw José Altuve score for the AL Pennant winners. The Venezuelan then continued his excellent postseason hitting form, smashing a solo home run to double the Astros’ lead after the fourth inning.
Eddie Rosario then scored the Braves’ first run of the game to kick-start their comeback in the bottom of the sixth inning. After limiting the Astros to nought in the top of the seventh, the Braves completed their comeback in a flash.
Swanson smashed a 95mph pitch from Astros relief pitcher Cristian Javier straight into the stands on the right side of the field to score a solo home run which tied the game.

A few moments later, Soler followed suit, smashing an 81mph pitch high towards the left side of the field. Despite Yordan Álvarez’s best efforts to catch the ball, it sailed just over the wall to hand Soler a solo home run and a 3-2 lead to the Braves.

Could Game 5 be the last chapter of this year’s World Series?
Following their stunning victory yesterday, the Braves need just one win to secure their first World Series title since 1995. They could clinch that title-clinching victory today should they produce another clinical performance in front of their fans.
However, the Astros will look to put in a much-needed excellent performance to save the series and keep their bid to win their second World Series title alive. Whether the AL Pennant winners can do that today, only time will tell.
