However, to get there, there’s no doubt that fans burned a gaping hole in their pockets. That would be because of the exorbitant ticket prices for Game 5, with even the cheapest tickets going for four-digit sums!
What was the minimum ticket price for Game 5 of the World Series?
Following two good games in Houston where the Astros and Braves won a game apiece, the next two games at home produced sheer joy for the Braves. With narrow wins in those games, they took an emphatic 3-1 series lead and were just one win away from securing their first World Series title since 1995.

The Braves started yesterday’s game with a stunning Grand Slam in the top of the first inning. However, the Astros produced an excellent comeback to take control and win a crucial game to keep the series alive.
