With the Yankees failing to taste major success since his arrival, many wonder what the future holds for the 29-year-old. Recently, he gave an encouraging update to fans of the widely popular MLB franchise.
Aaron Judge expresses desire to stay with the New York Yankees
The Yankees’ right fielder once again led from the front throughout the 2021 season. He scored 89 runs, of which 39 were home runs and recorded 98 RBI. With an OPS of .916, the 29-year-old won his second career Silver Slugger Award this year.
Although the Yankees left it late, they secured a wildcard spot in the postseason after Judge scored a crucial RBI in the final game of the season against the Tampa Bay Rays. However, they failed to beat the Boston Red Sox in the AL Wildcard them, leaving the Yankees to go through another season without reaching the World Series.
