Since they won their maiden World Series title in 2017, the Astros received a plethora of negative reactions from fans. In fact, they continue to receive them to this day, with hurdles specialist Rai Benjamin becoming the latest to criticize the AL Pennant winners.

Following their World Series win in 2017, many suspected the Astros cheated by stealing signs. When the MLB proved they engaged in such activities, the Astros fired few members of their staff. Although they took measures to limit the damage, fans still have their apprehensions about the Astros.
In a tweet, Benjamin, who hails from New York, made his feelings clear about this year’s AL Pennant winners. He wrote, “Idc (I don’t care) Astros are forever cheaters in my eyes.”

In the last three years, Benjamin enjoyed a meteoric rise as a specialist in the 400m category. The 24-year-old made his Olympic debut at the Tokyo Olympics earlier this year with many expecting him to win a medal. In a sensational race, Benjamin battled world champion Kasper Warholm for his maiden gold medal.
