Simone Biles reveals being in touch with Lewis Hamilton

The four-time Olympic gold medalist met Hamilton at an after-party following the Met Gala last month. While the Briton was coming off a severe crash with title rival Max Verstappen in the Italian Grand Prix, Biles arrived fresh off winning two medals after a tumultuous Tokyo Olympics.

During a live session on Instagram, Biles answered several questions from her fans. One of them asked if she watched F1, to which she replied she didn’t. However, that didn’t stop her from admitting she dreams of watching a race one day. Hence, she revealed she’s in touch with Hamilton to make it happen.

She said,?“Lewis is great, and I want to go out to one of his races. So, I?ve been talking to him about that. I really wanted to go to the one in Austin, but unfortunately, I?m on tour. But, I do wish I could go to one of his races.”

The next race in the ongoing F1 season takes place in Mexico on November 7. While she accepted she will need a trip to fulfill her dream, it could happen in a week’s time. However, her ‘Gold Over America’ Tour ends just a day before the race. While this could put any plans to attend the Mexican Grand Prix in doubt, expect Biles to appear in the F1 paddock in the near future.
