American Pro golfer, Dustin Johnson won his first-ever Masters Championship in 2020 with a record-breaking score of 268, 20-under par. This was in turn, a great milestone for the athlete in the span of his golf career. Actress and wife, Paulina Gretzky’s support for her champion husband during the 2020 Masters was evidence of the close-knitted bond the duo share. They were observed holding hands and talking about tearing up after the golfer’s epic win at the championship. The 2016 US Open winner had achieved yet another milestone in his golf career. Johnson won the 2020 Masters Tournament with a great score. It was his epic first win at the tournament. Although, the American golfer wasn’t alone in his victorious celebrations. Paulina Gretzky, actress, daughter of NHL player, Wayne Gretzky and wife of Dustin Johnson had been there for the athlete in every step of his career.

Similarly, at the 2020 Masters, Paulina reached the venue and stood beside the champion, technically, from a distance. Since cheering is not entertained in the sport, it was seen as a bold move on Paulina’s part. Well, that was not the end of her support.

Moments after Johnson’s historic triumph, Gretzky congratulated her man with an adorable public smooch. In a Twitter video, the couple was seen walking away holding hands. “My mom is crying for sure”, Paulina was heard saying. And soon after, “I did too”, said the actress. Dustin briefly responded by saying, “Cool”. Other Getzky members witnessed the moment from afar and congratulated Johnson on social media.

Johnson and Paulina had been engaged for 9 years before they got married. However, in 2018 there were widespread rumors about their breakup. Tackling the issue, Johnson publicly dismissed the rumors, particularly silencing the media’s speculations.

“Every relationship goes through its ups and downs, but most importantly, we love each other very much and are committed to being a family”, the athlete posted on his social media. Additionally, the golfer said, “Thank you for your love and support”, to neutralize the negative effect of the guesswork.
