It is no surprise that the name Lewis Hamilton has built for himself does not allow him a very private life. And the media always makes the world aware of whoever he spends time with and that’s often with equally famous personalities.

During her visit to the tracks in Barcelona in 2016, the pair made headlines as Vonn and Hamilton hugged, but the media made the most of it.

However, as revealed by Vonn herself, the two are good friends who like adventure sports, like snowboarding and skiing. And that is exactly what Vonn’s Instagram post from 2015 showcases which she captioned, “Karma= When you laugh at your friend for getting stuck in the powder and then 5 seconds later you run into a tree. Still had a blast though :)”

We could see the karmic nature of the skiing trip with the Mercedes man in Vonn’s post. Right after laughing profusely at Hamilton’s fall, Vonn says, “That’s why snowboarding is not the way to go.” Right after, she herself walks into a tree and falls.

Vonn spent her skiing days chasing the thrill of speed, which got her multiple gold medals. However, speed was not the only aspect that attracts Vonn to the premier motor sporting competition.

She revealed the financial aspect of F1 is attractive as well. And stated, “The salary of one racer is probably (equal to) the total amount of money ski racing has for their annual budget as a sport.”
