The PBR Team Series is a long-awaited event in the bull riding community. With just a few weeks to go, minor PBR events held all around the United States have already provided the rodeo world with a glimpse of some exceptional talent. The PBR Bull Bash at the MEC event followed a similar script, with up-and-coming rodeo stars competing in front of a sold-out audience to establish themselves. Briggs Madsen and Brady Fielder, both 23 years old and eager for a slugfest at the PBR event before the 2023 Team Series, were among the competitors.

The young cowboys performed well. The official PBR account released a video that went viral online because it showed the cowboys getting so close to a perfect score, keeping the PBR event exciting right up to the very end.

From the very beginning of the PBR Bull Bash at the MEC, Briggs Madsen and Brady Fielder were well aware that bull riding is an eight-second or nothing sport. There were a lot of contestants, but only a handful scored in the first round. Briggs Madsen, the cowboy from Oklahoma Freedom, rides the bucking bull Chop Chop in the video. The bull charges toward the middle of the arena as soon as the metal chutes are removed, but Madsen manages to keep a firm grip on the bucking bull. The judges were so amazed that they gave him an easy 86.50.

Texas Rattlers cowboy Brady Fielder was also in the event and was ready for his ride. As soon as the metal chutes were removed, Fielder and Matthew were matched up, and the bucking bull had intentions for the cowboy. After a thrilling journey, the bull leaped off Fielder, who landed near the metal chutes. The judges gave the 23-year-old cowboy the same score as Madsen (86.50) for his impressive performance. Both cowboys had the same aggregate and were scoreless in the last round of the PBR Bull Bash at the MEC; therefore, they shared first place.

Tremonton, Utah native Briggs Madsen is now training with the Oklahoma Freedom for the 2023 PBR Team Series. The cowboy holds a ranking of #60 despite the fact that he has only once in his PBR career scored a perfect 90 points on a bull. With a 30% ride percentage and $76,000 in earnings, the cowboy will be hoping for more in the series, where it’s always 8 seconds or nothing.

Australian Brady Fielder is coming all the way to the United States to test his mettle on the rodeo circuit. Fielder joined the Texas Rattlers as a cowboy for the PBR Team Series, and his early success has resulted in a $220,000 payday, which also includes two rides that each scored 90 points. The bull riding community can’t wait to watch these two cowboys compete in the Team Series against each other.
