In the world of bull riding, Chase Outlaw is a household name. The 31-year-old cowboy first appeared on the PBR scene in 2011 and hasn’t left since. Despite his distinctive style in the often-violent sport of bull riding, Outlaw has never won a PBR world title. Nevertheless, apart from being a successful athlete, Outlaw is a staunch family man. He has a son named Hayes Outlaw, who is very close to him and hopes to follow in his footsteps and become a famous cowboy. The father and son just had a memorable moment together: a trip to go bull riding.

PBR recently published a video on YouTube that quickly went viral, amassing over 30,000 views in just a few days. The video went viral because it featured a father-son team: bull rider Chase Outlaw and his little kid. Any one moment in the bull riding arena may be both breathtaking and horrifying. This, however, has attracted a large number of rodeo enthusiasts, all of whom have commented on the video to show their appreciation for the touching moment between the father and son.

A wholesome bull riding moment

At the beginning of the video, young Hayes Outlaw is seen to be quite interested in riding a bull, and his father is shown to be very encouraging in this interest. Due to the potentially life-threatening nature of the bull riding arena, the kid was outfitted with all the necessary safety gear and instructed on proper technique. Chase Outlaw, his father, sits on the bull behind his son before the ride begins and gives him words of encouragement.

After asking his son whether he’s ready to ride, Outlaw hears “Yes” and releases the metal chutes. The crowd goes wild as the bull charges into the center of the arena. Chase Outlaw was also seen holding his child by the rope as the child rode the bucking bull. In the following frame of the video, the father and son are celebrating the successful bull ride with a high-five. The boy gave a thumbs-up at the conclusion of the video, presumably because he enjoyed the bull ride.

The video gained widespread attention in the bull riding world when it demonstrated the special bond shared by the father and son.
