The bull rider’s destiny is determined by the judges and the amusement of the spectators in the arena, so they have just eight seconds to give it their best and establish their superiority over the other cowboys. But sometimes the best-laid plans in rodeo fail, and a violent scene breaks out in the center of the arena as the infuriated bull decides whether or not to leave the downed rider alone. Staff members are assigned to remain in close proximity to the cowboy and the bucking bull after each ride in an effort to calm the bull and prevent any serious injury to the rider who falls off the bull.

One of the gnarliest videos online was released by PBR Brazil on their social media website, and it quickly went viral. The footage depicted how the rodeo crew, seemingly unconcerned about their own safety, helped a downed cowboy by distracting the angry bull so that it wouldn’t hurt the rider. The bravery shown was also praised by internet users.

In addition to the thrilling bull riding, rodeo evenings often include performances by rodeo clowns, who keep the audience amused while they wait for the cowboys to show off their skills. When the metal chutes come down, everyone knows the rodeo has begun and the cowboy is riding the bull. The footage depicted a number of different rodeo accidents, each ending with the rodeo personnel coming to the rescue when the bull was in full fury.

In another clip, the bull repeatedly strikes the downed rider without mercy, but the rodeo personnel tries to take the bull by the horn to divert it, and it works.

The video finished by showing the risks of rodeo nights. Internet users immediately praised the rodeo workers for their courage after seeing the footage of these incidents.

PBR Brazil shared the video on Instagram, where it quickly went viral with over 300,000 views. Users flooded the comments area, praising the rodeo workers’ courage.

Whatever happened in the video was very dangerous, and this comment read, “Wow that takes a lot of courage.” Among all the heartfelt comments for the rodeo staff, this comment read, “God protect the Cowboys, but most of all save the lives, the arena angels.”
